A Beautiful Hotel With
Cycling Culture At Its Heart

Morzine is a paradise for road cyclists and a well known access point for the classic cols and scenic roads of the French Alps.

One of the most legendary Tour de France climbs, the Col de Joux Plane, starts just 250m from The Farmhouse Hotel, and many more key routes are within close range, including the Col De Ramaz – another Tour regular – and the Col de la Joux Verte.

As cycling enthusiasts ourselves, we have ridden these roads and love nothing more than to welcome cyclists, discuss cycling itineraries and pass on our passion for cycling in this incredible region.

Everything You Need On
Your Cycling Holiday

We have carefully ensured cyclists have everything they need at the hotel, with secure bike storage, workshop space with tools and a bike wash available to all guests.

There are several great bike shops in Morzine offering an excellent range of road bikes for rental, cycling accessories and bike repairs.

We can also provide early breakfasts and a cyclists’ menu to make sure you are fully fuelled  to take on and recover from riding the Cols.

A charming place

Train In The Wake Of
Top Cycling Champions

The Portes du Soleil is known as one of the most scenic cycling destinations in the world.

Our famous mountain passes and cols have hosted the Tour de France more than 21 times since 1975, and regularly stage the Critérium du Dauphiné, along with a number of Cyclosportives. Alongside these great Alpine climbs are a number of easier routes, which make the most of our beautiful (flatter) valleys and proximity to Lake Geneva.

For this reason, cyclists of all levels and abilities come to Morzine to enjoy the stunning routes the area is known for.

Classic Cycling Routes
From Morzine

“My third stay, but the first for seven long years. Has anything changed? No, thank heavens. It’s as blissful as ever, with the old team and the new caring for their guests with absolute perfection.”
