Since meeting in 2019, France has been our favourite place and go-to second home. Every opportunity we’ve had come rain, shine or snow, we jump in the car, bikes in tow, and make the journey to the French Alps.
It’s where Amy has skied her whole life with her family where they have a beautiful chalet in Vinzier.
It’s where Frederick dreamed of going since he was a little boy to ride the routes of his cycling heroes.
It’s where you can climb mountains up to 2,500 metres to feel and literally be on top of the world.
It’s where you can swim in lakes clear as crystal and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
It’s also where Frederick asked Amy to marry him on April 5th 2022 at the Panorama de Champeillant, in front of a panoramic view of Lake Geneva.
The mountains are a backdrop to our relationship and we can’t wait to share our little slice of heaven with you.
Our wedding will be held at The Farmhouse – a fairy-tale location at the heart of Morzine, in the French Alps.
It would be great if all guests could join us from Friday 23rd August – Monday 26th but everyone is welcome to stay additional nights either way.
Thursday 22nd – Welcome drinks and party night from 17:00 (optional)
Friday 23rd – Join us at the Lac de Montriond for a fun afternoon and BBQ at the lake (optional – there are free buses from Morzine centre to Montriond)
Saturday 24th
15:00 – 15:30 – Ceremony
15:30 – 17:30 – Champagne Reception
17:30 – Dinner & Party
Sunday 25th – Celebrations & post wedding BBQ
Monday 26th – Depart
The Farmhouse is at 75 minute drive from Geneva, and it is a straightforward journey from Geneva Airport or central railway station by one of the following options:
Geneva in Switzerland is the closest international airport. It’s a 1 hour 15 minutes drive away from Morzine.
We recommend booking the transfer service via this link to receive a 10% rebate on their published rates.
Alternatively, Lyon airport, in France is 2 hours 15 minutes away.
You might decide to rent a car from the airport or drive all the way to Morzine. If your accommodation has limited parking space, we can recommend the following car parks, all a few minutes walking distance from The Farmhouse:
We plan to celebrate the ceremony and cocktail outside in the garden.
For the dinner we will also be outside but under a stretch tent.
Last but not least, the party will be inside. In case of rain, everything will take place either under the tent or inside.
Our wedding is planned to take place almost fully outdoors.
We truly hope that we will be able to celebrate in as normal conditions as possible.
However, in the current sanitary context, we will of course follow all the local relevant laws and hotel guidelines.
As these rules tend to change a lot, we will communicate any relevant restriction closer to the wedding date and we thank you for your understanding.

Friday Night & Sunday Brunch: Casual
Please do keep in mind Morzine is at 1000m altitude (3281 feet). As always in the mountains, it can get both very hot during the summer days and pretty fresh during the evening.
Important note for the ladies: we will spend most of the time on grass so you can leave stiletto heels at home 😉
The Farmhouse is the perfect place to stay and it is fully reserved for our wedding. Unfortunately, it is not big enough to host everyone.
