Morzine is situated in the huge Portes du Soleil ski area – one of the largest in the world with over 600km of groomed piste and excellent opportunities for off-piste skiing.
The ski domain encompasses 228 ski lifts and 12 resorts spanning the Franco-Swiss border between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The opportunities offered by this international ski area are truly incredible.
Families and beginners are well catered for with learner slopes, magic carpets and themed areas designed especially for kids.
Gentle tree-lined slopes and plenty of wide, blue runs keep novice skiers smiling; whilst intermediate skiers have a great selection of red runs, boardercross and freestyle parks to explore.
Experts turn their skills to the 33 black runs, the steep and fast 1100m descent of the World Cup run in Avoriaz and the moguls of the infamous Swiss Wall.

Whether you are looking for a first week in ski school or a private off-piste guide, Morzine has an excellent choice of high quality ski tuition.
The huge ESF operation offers children’s ski school from the age of 3 years, as well as snowboarding, freestyle and cross-country.
In this well-established resort you will also find many smaller independent outfits offering a very high level of expertise in the field of snow sports.
You will love exploring Morzine’s charming town centre, with its vintage merry-go-round, ice rink, boutiques and pastry shops.
The beautifully lit town centre is a hub of activity in the evenings, with special family festivities around Christmas, New Year and the February holidays.
Whilst down by the river, you’ll find a swimming complex with a spa area, 25m swimming pool and children’s paddling pool.
Our chef cooks delicious, flavourful dishes with truffle oil, Alpine beer and wild mushrooms, using core ingredients such as rich game, artisan cheese and fresh fish.
Dinner is a relaxed 4-course affair and seating is restaurant style – choose to dine as a family, join tables with other guests or enjoy an intimate evening for two.
A lovely afternoon tea with freshly baked treats is served in the bar area daily, and breakfast is a hearty buffet with hot options to ensure skiers are well fuelled and ready to make fresh tracks.
